(IN ENGLISH) 2020 Hyundai Creta launch preponed to March 16

New Hyundai Creta 2020 gets a couple of petrol engine options (1.5-litre MPi and 1.4-litre Kappa Turbo GDi) and a diesel one (1.5-litre U2 CRDi), with all the three complying with the upcoming BS6 emission norms.

Hyundai Motor India has reportedly preponed the 2020 Creta launch by a day to March 16. Earlier, the new Hyundai Creta launch was scheduled to take place on March 17. Following its introduction in the country, the Hyundai Creta 2020 will challenge the likes of Kia Seltos, MG Hector and Tata Harrier.


The 2020 Hyundai Creta bookings had commenced on March 2, with the SUV garnering over 10,000 bookings within a week. The customers can book the vehicle by paying Rs 25,000 at a Hyundai Motor India dealership or the official website of the automobile manufacturer. The new Hyundai Creta price in India might be between Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).


The new Hyundai Creta is going to be introduced in five variants -- E, EX, S, SX and SX(O). It gets a couple of petrol engine options (1.5-litre MPi and 1.4-litre Kappa Turbo GDi) and a diesel one (1.5-litre U2 CRDi), with all the three complying with the upcoming BS6 emission norms.


There are 10 colour options available with the Hyundai Creta 2020. The exterior has been completely refurbished with new features like 3D cascading grille, trio beam LED headlamps, boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, LED taillights, LED high mount stop lamp, twin-tip exhaust, rear spoiler, roof rails, automatic ORVMs and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.


The cabin of the 2020 Creta has been redone as well. The SUV now features automatic AC, air purifier, cooled glove box, driver rearview monitor, paddle shifters, 10.25-inch HD infotainment system, 8-speaker Bose premium sound system, 7-inch supervision cluster and voice-enabled panoramic sunroof. The new Creta features the Blue Link connectivity technology as well.
